Bob Marley is buried at this site in Nine Miles, St. Ann, which is an hour's drive from Chrisanns. There's a special bus tour of this site. At the property's reception desk, you'll find brochures for this and other tours.

Jamaica isn't only sun, sand and sea. The Blue Mountains overlooking Kingston rise to over 7,000 feet at their highest point: Blue Mountain Peak. Jamaica's famous Blue Mountain coffee is grown on small farms in this area. The entire region is known as the Blue and John Crow Mountains National Park, and is protected by Jamaican environmental regulations. This region is also designated as an UNESCO

Jamaica is renowned for introducing jerk pork to the world, a tantalizing method of slow cooking meats, either on an open grill, or in a shallow trench in the ground covered with sticks. An essential seasoning is piping hot Scotch Bonnet peppers.
